Four years of production at Denison, plus two summers on professional sets. I've been on both sides of the camera and most places in between.

A ten-minute portrait of an artist at work

A documentary about the creative process and the collaboration behind it, which I directed, shot, lit, and edited. The subject liked it enough to license it for his own promotion, and he commissioned additional footage. Denison has also considered it for its own promotional use.

A four-minute short, written and produced start to finish

Made in Advanced Cinema Production, the top of Denison's three-course production sequence. I wrote it, built the schedule, ran the crew, and took it through post.

On set for Kyle Gordon's "My Life Is the Worst Life Ever"

Production assistant on a professional music video shoot: set operations, crew logistics, and whatever needed carrying. My first look at how a real crew moves, and it made me want more of it.

Set decoration on "Hershey: The Incredible True Story"

A summer dressing sets with the set decoration team: arranging props and furnishings so every scene looked lived in, and coordinating with art, props, and lighting so changes happened on time. I managed and transported an inventory of more than 1,000 props and decoration pieces, tracking every item so nothing went missing and nothing held up the day.

Camera, boom, grip, editor, director

Across four years I crewed more student films than I can count, in every role from camera operator and boom op to grip, editor, and director. Several projects always running at once was just how school worked, and I liked it that way.

Stage

Sixty-plus productions across musicals, plays, poetry readings, and dance. Performing taught me to take direction, think on my feet, and stay calm when the lights are on.

Music

A minor in music and a lot of singing. It's why sound matters as much as picture to me in the edit.

Chamber Singers, Denison University

All eight semesters, 2022 to 2026.

Music Theatre Workshop and Singers' Theatre Workshop

Multiple semesters in Denison's staged vocal ensembles.

Voice and piano

Private voice study throughout college, plus piano. Passed Denison's performance skills and piano proficiency exams. I also know my way around FL Studio for scratch tracks and sound design.

About

Pittsburgh kid. Denison grad. Happiest on a set with a long day ahead.

I grew up in Moon Township, just outside Pittsburgh, and graduated from Denison University in May 2026 with a B.A. in Cinema and a minor in Music. Most of my degree was hands-on: three levels of production classes, a documentary, a short I wrote and produced, and crew roles on more student shoots than I can count.

Outside of film I've been on stage since I was a kid, which is where I learned to take direction, adapt fast, and keep going when something breaks. I like coordinating across departments, operating equipment, and keeping a shoot on schedule. Long hours don't bother me.

I'm looking for work in Pittsburgh's film, video, and theater world: editing, production, or anywhere a crew needs someone who shows up ready.
